Leto was the daughter of Titanides and a frequent lover of Zeus. She fell pregnant with his children and drew Hera crazy. Hera chased her from place to place, leaving her with nowhere to establish roots.
Medusa was a beautiful girl and took the fancy of Poseidon. He took advantage of her in Athena's temple. This caused Athena to seek out vengeance on Medusa by cursing her an appearance unable to be looked upon forever.
Persephone was the daughter of Zeus and Demeter. She was the apple of Hades' eye. He snatched her from her world and brought her to the underworld to be his wife. Of course, this was unwillingly and after the objection from Persephone's mother as well.
Psyche was another beautiful girl that was tormented by the gods and goddesses. Her beauty matched that of Aphrodite, which naturally angered the goddess. She called on her son, Eros, to swoon Psyche. Aphrodite was able to manipulate their relationship.
